As being speculated over the web, it appears that Nokia Lumia 920 might get the 4G LTE support through a FOTA (Firmware Over the Air) update in India. Moreover, the phone already has the hardware support for the 4G bands, it is only a matter of implementing the same via firmware upgrade.
4G support in India would definitely give Nokia an edge over all its rivals including the likes of iPhone 5, Galaxy Note, HTC and others.
However, if you trust the Nokia Care, as per them, Nokia Lumia 920 is definitely going to support 4G networks in India. Here is a transcript of my chat with the Nokia Care Executive where in he confirmed the availability of 4G Support via an update.
